The Balance is rated 5 | 5 | 0 | 2. That's midrange speed with good glide, a neutral high-speed turn, and a dependable fade - a stable, torque-resistant control mid that flies straight and finishes reliably.
The Balance is more overstable than the Reactor, offering a stronger fade and more torque resistance while still delivering similar glide and workability. Choose the Balance when you want a more dependable finish.
The Balance slots just under the Pyro in stability, so it fades less. That makes it a perfect bridge between the Pyro's strong overstable fade and the Reactor's neutral workability.
It's best for intermediate to advanced players. Beginners may find it slightly too overstable until they develop more arm speed or more refined release angles, though it will beat in toward straighter over time.
This disc excels at controlled hyzers, forehand placement shots, and torque-heavy straight-to-fade lines in the 250 to 325 foot range. It's a dependable tool any time you need a mid that holds its line.
The Balance is currently offered in Neutron, a grippy, durable, premium blend with vibrant colors. Special Edition Neutron runs add collectible artwork with the same high-end performance.

Not quite amateur friendly if you want the strait mid with finish but beat in it would probably get there. Still pretty beefy but not as much as the proto run.
