Flight Numbers
The Zone SS is the understable Zone. Same beaded, low-profile mould players already trust — but with a touch of high-speed turn (-1) and a gentler fade (2), it holds your line longer and finishes softer instead of hooking away early.
Zone SS vs. Zone: What Actually Changed
If you already throw a Zone, this is the same disc in the hand and a different disc in the air. The standard Zone is the overstable workhorse — it fades hard, early, and on purpose. The SS trades most of that fade for glide and a hint of turn, so it flies the full straight line you aimed at before settling gently. Lower-power throwers get a complete flight out of it that the standard Zone never gives them, and everyone else gets a turnover and touch-approach disc that still feels exactly like a Zone.
All three sit on the same beaded mould. Pick by how much finish you want:
Zone SS
4 / 4 / -1 / 2The straightest. Holds the line, gentle finish, easiest to fly full.
Zone
4 / 3 / 0 / 3The overstable workhorse. Reliable, predictable, always finishes hard.
Zone OS
4 / 3 / 0 / 4The most overstable. Spike hyzers, heavy wind, forced fades.
Why Throw the Straighter Zone?
Holds the Line
A touch of turn and less fade than the Zone lets it stay on your line before settling, so approaches finish where you aimed instead of hooking away.
Touch Approaches
Dialed in for controlled upshots and putter-range placement where a full Zone fades too hard or checks up too early.
Gentle Turnovers
The -1 turn shapes soft anhyzers and gentle flex lines that a standard Zone simply won't hold.
Flies Full for More Players
Lower-power throwers get a complete, straight flight out of it far more easily than the overstable Zone — without giving up that Zone confidence.
The Same Bead and Grip
Identical beaded, flat, low-profile shape to the Zone you already bag. Nothing to relearn in the hand.
Not a Flippy Disc
It keeps enough stability to stay controllable and predictable in a breeze — this is a calmer Zone, not a turnover-only disc.

This disc has a bit lighter of a fade than a zone but it has some definate turn in the mid flight. if you hyzer flip this to flat it will act alot like a zone and have a similar finish and a bit more distance.
Just the flight I was looking for
