Mint Discs Lasso
Mint Discs Lasso is Mint’s first putter designed for driving. It has a flat top and a fast, clean release. The rim feels deeper than a Bullet, which adds confidence on power throws.
This is a true “throwing putter” for players who attack off the tee. It shines on approaches and short drives under 250–300 feet. It also holds up when the wind picks up.
On a flat backhand, the Lasso wants to glide forward on a tight line. It does not feel “floaty,” but it carries better than most overstable putters. When it runs out of speed, it finishes with a steady fade.
Give it a small hyzer and it becomes a point-and-shoot approach tool. It holds the angle and lands on time. That is perfect for guarded greens and simple corner shots.
The Mint Discs Lasso is also great for short flex lines. Put it on gentle anhyzer and let it fight out. You get a controlled bend without the fear of burning over early.
Forehand players will like the flat top feel. It comes out clean and stays composed. Mint notes it can be more stable on backhand than forehand, depending on form. A smooth, nose-down forehand gets the best results.
If you already bag a Zone-style disc, the Lasso gives you a different speed and touch window. It is slower and easier to range than many 4-speeds. It still has the dependable finish you want in wind.
Think of the Lasso as a “control-first” overstable putter. It is built to land in the right spot. It is also built to let you throw hard without guessing.

FAQs
Is the Mint Discs Lasso better as a throwing putter or a putting putter?
It is designed as a throwing putter first. It handles power, wind, and angles with confidence. You can putt with it, but most players love it off the tee and on approaches.
Mint Lasso vs Axiom Envy: what’s the real difference?
Both can be “workhorse throwing putters.” The Lasso is built to stay stable and finish reliably. Many players use it as a more overstable Envy-style option, especially in wind.
Lasso vs Zone or Toro: when should I choose the Lasso?
Choose the Lasso when you want a slower, easier-to-range approach disc. It gives you dependable fade without feeling too fast. Zone and Toro can feel more aggressive and faster on the ground.
Which Lasso plastic should I pick for tee shots and windy upshots?
Start with Eternal for maximum durability and a consistent finish. Choose Sublime when you want premium grip with a slightly more comfortable feel. Choose Royal Soft when you want extra grip and softer landings.
Why does my Lasso feel less stable on forehand than backhand?
Forehands can add extra torque and wrist roll. Keep the nose down and release with clean spin. If it still turns, add hyzer or choose a stiffer premium run like Eternal.

in premium plastic this disc flies far and strait with a glidey fade at the end. i use it as a more overstable envy. it has a glidey pushy fade rather than a dumpy fade.
