Discmania's most iconic disc — the gold standard of putters since 2007. The P2 flies straight with a subtle, dependable fade and handles wind, spin putts, and off-the-tee drives with equal confidence. Simon Lizotte, Eagle McMahon, and countless touring pros have trusted it for years.

Why Throw the P2?

🎯

Straight with a Reliable Fade

The P2 goes where you aim and finishes with a gentle hook left (RHBH). Zero turn means it doesn't flip on you, and the 1 fade is just enough to park it without skipping past. Point, throw, trust the finish.

🌬️

Wind Confidence

Most putters get pushed around in wind. The P2's stable flight holds up in moderate headwinds and crosswinds, giving you confidence on windy approach shots and aggressive putting lines that weaker putters can't handle.

🏌️

Elite Throwing Putter

Off the tee, the P2 holds dead-straight lines out to 250+ feet. It doesn't turn over under power and fades predictably at the end. Many players use C-Line or S-Line P2s as their primary throwing putter for tight fairways and approach bombs.

Ergonomic Beadless Rim

The P2 has a beadless, slightly deep rim that sits naturally in the hand for both fan grips and power grips. The clean rim profile gives a smooth, consistent release on putts and drives without a bead catching your fingers.

🔢

Three Flex Options

Discmania's D-Line P2 comes in Flex 1 (soft), Flex 2 (medium), and Flex 3 (firm). Every player has a preference — the P2 lets you match firmness to your putting style without changing the mold.

🏆

Pro-Proven Since 2007

The P2 has been Discmania's most popular disc of all time. Simon Lizotte, Eagle McMahon, and Leo Piironen all putt with it. It's not a trend — it's the disc that has probably made the most prize money in Discmania history.

Plastics

Popular

D-Line (Flex 1 / 2 / 3)

Baseline • Textured Grip • Three Firmness Options

Discmania's baseline putting blend with a unique textured grip that works in all conditions. Flex 1 is soft and tacky, Flex 2 is the medium all-rounder, Flex 3 is stiff and firm. Most players start with Flex 2. D-Line beats in over time, letting you cycle P2s through different stability stages.

P-Line

Durable Base • Very Firm • Pro Feel

Discmania's most durable base plastic, designed for players who want a firmer feel than D-Line. P-Line P2s run very stiff with excellent grip — a popular choice among pro players who prefer a hard, consistent release on spin putts.

S-Line

Premium • Durable • Throwing Putter

Discmania's premium durable blend. S-Line P2s hold their stability much longer than baseline plastics and have excellent grip in all weather. The go-to choice for off-the-tee drives and approach shots where durability matters.

C-Line

Premium • Translucent • Most Overstable

The most durable and most overstable P2 plastic. C-Line is translucent, stiff, and resists wear longer than any other blend. C-Line P2s fly noticeably more overstable — ideal for headwind approaches and players who want maximum fade consistency.

Frequently Asked Questions

Both are 2/3/0/1 putters, but they feel different in the hand. The P2 is beadless with a slightly deeper rim profile. The Aviar (depending on the model) often has a bead and a shallower feel. Many players find the P2 more comfortable for power grips and off-the-tee drives, while the Aviar family is broader with more variants. Flight-wise they're very close — hand feel usually decides it.
Flex 2 (medium) is the default recommendation. It balances grip, firmness, and release feel for the widest range of putting styles. Flex 1 is softer and tackier — great for cold weather and players who like a gummy feel. Flex 3 is stiff and board-like — preferred by players who want maximum consistency on spin putts. Try Flex 2 first, then adjust.
Absolutely — it's one of the best throwing putters in disc golf. In S-Line or C-Line plastic, the P2 holds straight lines out to 250+ feet and finishes with a predictable fade. The zero turn means it won't flip on power shots. Many touring pros carry a premium P2 specifically for tee shots and long approaches.
D-Line is for putting — the textured grip and flex options are designed for inside-the-circle confidence. S-Line is for throwing and approaches — premium durability with reliable flight through heavy use. C-Line is for maximum overstability — headwind approaches, forehand putter shots, and any situation where you need the most fade. Many P2 players carry D-Line for putting and S-Line or C-Line for throwing.
Beadless. The rim is smooth without a protruding bead on the bottom. This gives a clean, consistent release that many players prefer for both putts and drives. If you like beaded putters, the DD Judge or Lat64 Dagger are comparable alternatives with a bead.
The P1 is Discmania's more understable putter. It has more turn (-1) and less fade, making it straighter with less finish. The P2 is the stable option — zero turn, reliable fade, better wind resistance. Choose the P1 for dead-straight putts in calm air, the P2 for a consistent finish and wind reliability.
D-Line Flex 1 is the best cold-weather option — the soft, tacky plastic maintains grip when temperatures drop. Flex 3 and C-Line can feel slick in cold conditions. S-Line offers a good middle ground with premium durability and reasonable cold-weather grip. If you play through winter, stock up on Flex 1s.
