That's a fair comparison. The River (7/7/-1/1) shares the same glide and turn but is two speeds slower with less fade. The Saint covers more ground and finishes firmer. If you love the River's float but want extra reach, the Saint is the natural step up.

You can, but it's best for touch forehands rather than full-power sidearm rips. The -1 turn and big glide can cause it to turn over on hard forehand releases. For powered forehands at this speed, the Saint Pro or a Raptor is a safer choice.
