The Originals line covers Discmania's classic molds — the FD, PD, P2, MD3, DD3, CD2, and more. These plastics map closely to Innova's system: C-Line ≈ Champion, S-Line ≈ Star, D-Line ≈ DX.
C-Line
C-Line is Discmania's most durable Originals plastic — translucent, firm, and built to hold flight characteristics through heavy use. It's comparable to Innova's Champion plastic. C-Line discs tend to fly the most overstable of the Originals plastics, making them reliable in wind and great for discs you throw hard. Popular Discmania discs in C-Line include the FD, PD, and MD3.
Best for: Maximum durability and stability. Drivers you throw hard, utility discs, and windy conditions.

Q-Line is Discmania's most advanced plastic blend — denser, stronger, and built specifically for their groundbreaking Premier Technology discs. Q-Line is grippy with a glossy finish and extremely durable. Currently available in Premier molds like the DD3, DD1, FD, and P2x.

S-Line is Discmania's grippier premium Originals plastic — comparable to Innova's Star. It offers excellent grip in all weather conditions with great durability that ages well. S-Line discs don't change drastically after tree hits, maintaining their flight characteristics longer than D-Line. The feel is slightly softer and grippier than C-Line, making it many players' preferred premium plastic for everyday throwing.
Best for: Your everyday premium Originals plastic. Great grip, great durability — the default choice for most Discmania Originals discs.

D-Line is Discmania's baseline Originals plastic — affordable, grippy, and designed to break in over time. It comes in three flexes: Flex 1 (softest), Flex 2 (medium), and Flex 3 (stiffest). Neo discs tend to fly the most overstable of the Evolution plastics. Think of Neo as the Evolution equivalent of C-Line. Popular Evolution discs in Neo include the Origin, Essence, and Paradigm.
Best for: Premium Evolution discs you throw hard and often. The most durable Evolution option with great grip.

Originals vs. Evolution: Which Line?
- The line determines the disc mold, not just the plastic. An FD only comes in Originals plastics (C-Line, S-Line, D-Line). An Origin only comes in Evolution plastics (Neo, Lux, Exo, Meta).
- You don't choose between C-Line and Neo — you choose between them based on which disc you want. If you want an FD, pick C-Line or S-Line. If you want an Origin, pick Neo or Lux.
Plastic by Disc Type
- Putters (putting): D-Line (Originals) or Exo (Evolution). Choose your flex/firmness.
- Putters (throwing): C-Line/S-Line (Originals) or Neo/Lux (Evolution).
- Midranges: S-Line or C-Line (Originals). Neo or Lux (Evolution). Meta for maximum stability.
