Innova Gorgon
Innova Gorgon is built for players who want distance without chaos. It blends a fairway-like feel with real distance-driver reach. The result is “sneaky long” golf lines that stay on the fairway.
The Gorgon is a control distance driver first. It is not a pure max-speed bomber. It is made to glide straight, drift when you ask, and finish gently. That is exactly what you want on narrow fairways.
Thrown flat, the Gorgon carries with a steady forward push. It shows workable turn at speed. Then it settles with a small fade. That finish is helpful near trouble. It lands more forward than sideways.
Give it a light hyzer and the Gorgon wants to stand up. It flips to flat and keeps gliding. This is the “easy distance” shot for many players. It also helps you keep the disc low and straight.
Need a long right-mover? The Gorgon loves smooth turnovers. Start it flat or with slight anhyzer. Let the glide do the work. It will keep panning right for RHBH, then land softly.
Power throwers get a different tool. The Gorgon becomes a shape disc. You can hit long hyzer-flips in the woods. You can also throw high anhyzers that drift forever. Just keep the release clean.
The Gorgon rewards spin and nose control. Nose-up throws stall and fade early. Off-axis torque makes it turn too fast. Smooth form gives you the full “turn then settle” flight.
Wind is the main decision point. In a tailwind, it becomes effortless and long. In a headwind, it will show more turn. Add hyzer and keep it lower in breeze.
If you want one driver for long tunnels, this is a great pick. If you want a disc that “goes far” on a fairway line, this fits. It is a confidence builder from tee to landing zone.

Plastics
Halo Star: Premium durability with eye-catching rims. Often a touch more stable with a stronger finish. Great when you want more control in wind.
Star: The balanced “main bag” option. Great grip, long life, and a true Gorgon flight. A strong choice for consistent hyzer-flips.
GStar: Flexible and very grippy, especially in cold weather. Innova notes GStar can add more high-speed turn. Great for easier flip-ups and longer right drift.
Champion: Very durable and typically firmer in hand. Often holds stability longer over time. Great when you want the Gorgon to stay straighter.
Pro: Grippy and workable with quicker seasoning. Great if you want more turn sooner. A nice option for turnovers and glidey lines.
Glow / Color Glow / Proto Glow (special runs): Limited glow versions show up in rotating releases. These are great for night rounds and visibility.

FAQs
Gorgon vs Beast: which is better for tight fairways and “easy distance”?
The Gorgon is the cleaner choice for narrow fairways. It has more glide and a softer finish. The Beast usually fades harder at the end. If you want more left finish, choose Beast.
Which plastic makes the Innova Gorgon easiest to hyzer-flip?
GStar is the easiest for flip-ups in most conditions. Pro can also flip easily once it starts seasoning. If you want the straightest, start with Star. If you want more stability, choose Halo Star.
How do I keep my Gorgon from turning too much?
Add a touch more hyzer and lower the nose. Try a heavier weight in Star or Champion. Avoid forcing extra power. Smooth spin will keep it on plane.
Is the Gorgon a roller disc, or is it mainly a turnover driver?
It is mainly a turnover and hyzer-flip driver. That said, stronger arms can roll it. Use a gentle anhyzer and let it stand into the roll. In a tailwind, it will roll even easier.
What’s the best use case for the Gorgon in a distance-driver lineup?
Use it as your “control distance” slot. It bridges fairways and wide-rim bombers. It is ideal when you want distance on a fairway line. It also pairs well with an overstable headwind driver.

Great disc
Quick and easy
The Gorgon is a great disc for all levels of play. It can be crushed on open holes and controlled in the woods. Holds its line and has a slight fade at the end. Everyone should bag this disc.
Slight hyzer flip will get some turn and a slight finish at 375-400. However, if you force it over with any speed it isn’t coming back. Great disc
