Innova Beast
Innova Beast is a control distance driver that makes long flights feel simple. It’s fast, glidey, and shaped for workable turn. You get distance without needing perfect power.
The Beast is famous because it “does the full flight” for more players. It can stand up from a hyzer. It can drift right on command. It can still finish with control when thrown clean.
For developing arms, the Beast is often a first step into real distance drivers. It gives you extra carry while staying controllable. A small hyzer release can pop to flat and keep pushing.
For experienced players, the Beast becomes a shot-shaper. It’s great for long turnovers that hold the angle. It’s also great for tailwind drives that stay in glide mode. When you need a wide S-curve in the open, it’s a classic.
The Beast also plays well with angle discipline. Keep the nose down and it will ride. Add height and it will drift longer. Rush it with torque and it can turn too hard. That makes it a good “form mirror” disc.
Wind is the only real warning label. In a tailwind, it feels effortless. In a headwind, it can show more turn than you want. If the wind is up, choose a heavier Beast or a more stable mold.
Backhand players love it for long flip-ups and glidey turnovers. Forehand players like it for controlled flex shots and forward finishes. It’s not a pure utility meathook. It’s a distance tool you can aim.
Flight: 10 | 5 | −2 | 2. This is a long driver with glide, turn, and a predictable finish. Official Beast overview

Plastics
Halo Star: Premium durability with a grippy feel and eye-catching rims. Often a touch more stable and very consistent.
Star: High performance with great grip and long-lasting durability. A reliable “main bag” choice in most conditions.
GStar: Flexible and very grippy, especially in cold weather. Smooth, gradual flight that feels easy to shape.
Champion: Very durable and typically a bit firmer. Great when you want the Beast to stay stable longer.
Blizzard Champion: Microbubble Champion for lighter weights. Great for easier speed and extra distance at lower power.
Pro: Grippy and workable with a faster “season in.” Great if you want more turn and glide sooner.
Glow / Glow DX runs: Glow versions show up in rotating runs. Great for night rounds and visibility.
DX: Excellent grip and value. Seasons into more turn over time, which is great for shaping.

FAQs
What’s the easiest way to throw the Beast for a long hyzer-flip?
Start with a small hyzer and keep the nose down. Focus on smooth spin, not max pull. If it flips too much, add hyzer or go heavier.
Beast vs Valkyrie: which one is better for “control distance”?
Valkyrie is slower and can feel easier to hit tight gaps. Beast is faster and usually goes farther with the same clean release. Choose Beast when you want more carry without jumping to very wide rims.
Why does my Beast keep turning into the ground?
That usually comes from too much anhyzer, nose-up, or off-axis torque. Lighter weights also amplify turn in wind. Try a heavier Beast in Champion or Halo Star and release on more hyzer.
Which Beast plastic is best for tailwinds and long turnovers?
DX and Pro are great if you want earlier turn and easy shaping. GStar also works well when you want extra grip and a smooth drift. For a more controlled turn, try Star.
Is the Innova Beast a good forehand driver?
Yes, if you want a forward finish and workable lines. It handles clean forehand releases well. If you need a hard fade in headwinds, you may want a more overstable option.

I was looking for a new disc in the used section at the play it again sports that is close to my house and I found this sweet glow beast. It only weighed 155g, but I figured it would be fine I would put it on a massive hyzer angle anytime I threw it. Well... Long story short I went to the field and threw this thing far. How far I'll never know, because I released this thing on hyzer(RHBH), it flipped up to flat and flew so far to right and just kept going! It disappeared never to be seen again!!! Must've went at least 500ft and, was still going when I lost sight of it. I have a new Beast now in Halo plastic at 177g and, it is the farthest flying disc I own. I eagled a par 5 with it at my home course so, if you get one be ready it could go bye bye!!!
