Streamline Flare
The Streamline Flare is a powerfully overstable fairway driver built to end with a hard, reliable fade. It’s Streamline’s first speed-9 driver and a true workhorse for headwinds, spike hyzers, and skip shots when you need guaranteed finish.
Flight: 9 | 4 | 0 | 3.5. The Flare flies straight with minimal turn before dumping hard, producing predictable flare skips and forced-fade lines. Official specs
Why throw the Streamline Flare?
- Very overstable fairway that you can trust in strong headwinds.
- Low-glide profile helps you avoid sailing long on approach shots.
- Excellent for forehands thanks to its flat top and torque resistance.
- Ideal for spike hyzers, skip shots, and utility lines around obstacles.
Plastics
Neutron (premium): Streamline’s flagship opaque plastic with great grip and durability. Neutron Flares offer the stock 9 | 4 | 0 | 3.5 flight and a flat, comfortable feel for both backhand and forehand power.
Cosmic Neutron (premium swirly): swirled Neutron blend with bright, multi-color “cosmic” patterns. Cosmic Neutron Flares keep the same beefy, overstable flight with extra visual pop.
Eclipse 2.0 (Proton glow – OTB Open runs): ultra-bright glow plastic with stiff, premium feel. Eclipse Flares are some of the most overstable runs, perfect for night rounds and extreme wind.

FAQs
What are the Streamline Flare flight numbers and what do they mean?
The Flare is rated 9 | 4 | 0 | 3.5. Expect fairway-driver speed, modest glide, no high-speed turn, and a very strong fade for meathook-style finishes and big skips.
Is the Flare too overstable for newer players?
It’s very overstable, so newer players will mainly use it as a utility disc. It’s perfect when you need a guaranteed fade, a skip around a corner, or a disc that won’t turn over in a headwind.
Is the Flare good for forehand throws?
Yes. The flat top, low profile, and high torque resistance make the Flare a favorite for forehand players who want confident, fade-heavy finishes.
What shots does the Flare excel at?
Spike hyzers, flex shots that must finish hard, skip shots around corners, and wind-fighting utility drives. It’s also great for forced overhands and thumbers.
Which Flare plastic should I choose?
Choose Neutron for a primary overstable fairway with excellent grip. Pick Cosmic Neutron if you want the same flight with swirly, premium looks. Go Eclipse 2.0 if you need the brightest glow plastic on the market and maximum overstability for night or windy rounds.

Wow! Straight grade a beef! The flare flies like an over stable Firebird. And eclipse plastic it is very flat and probably my favorite plastic for the flare. The glide and fade numbers should be switched. Give it a shot! MVP plastic is so so good!
