Flight Numbers

12Speed
6Glide
-2Turn
2Fade

A low-profile, understable distance driver built for easy shape. The X4 turns without drama, carries forward on big glide, and finishes with a gentle, reliable fade — and it holds turnovers even at lower speeds. It loves hyzer-flips, long turnovers, and low-ceiling tunnel shots, making it a genuine distance cheat code for developing arms. Note: some retailers list older-style ratings like 13 | 5 | -2.5 | 2; Prodigy's current listings show 12 | 6 | -2 | 2, so that's the spec we use here.

Why Throw the X4?

🪁

Distance Cheat Code

Easy turn plus huge glide means developing and average arms get real distance without elite power. The X4 carries forward instead of fading out early.

🔄

Hyzer-Flip Machine

Start it on gentle hyzer and it stands up to flat, rides the glide, and finishes soft. A reliable way to bomb straight pushes that stay in the fairway.

↪️

Long Turnovers

The -2 turn holds anhyzer and turnover lines, drifting instead of burning over early. Great for shaping long right-moving shots (RHBH).

🌲

Low-Ceiling & Tunnels

The low-profile build performs well at low heights, making the X4 a strong pick for wooded tunnel shots and flat, driving lines under branches.

💨

Tailwind Bomber

Glide and understable turn make the X4 a natural downwind disc — let the tailwind feed the glide and watch it ride forever.

🏆

Power Throwers Too

It isn't just for developing arms. Big arms get late flip, long woods lines, and roller-ready flights once the disc seasons in.

Frequently Asked Questions

We list the X4 as 12 | 6 | -2 | 2 — high speed with huge glide, easy turn, and a controlled fade. Some retailers list older-style ratings like 13 | 5 | -2.5 | 2, but Prodigy's current listings show 12 | 6 | -2 | 2, so that's the spec we use here. Expect long carry on hyzer-flips and turnovers.
A wide range of arms. Lower arm speeds get easy distance and workable turn; intermediate players get a reliable hyzer-flip bomber; and power throwers get late flip and long turnover lines. It's one of the more accessible 12-speeds because the understability does some of the work for you.
Both are speed-12 drivers with a glide of 6. The X4 (12/6/-2/2) is more understable and flippier, built for hyzer-flips and turnovers. The X3 (12/6/-1/2) is more stable and dependable at full power. Choose the X4 for easy distance and shaping, the X3 for controlled, headwind-ready drives.
The X5 (12/6/-3/2) is the more understable of the two, with even more high-speed turn for big hyzer-flips, rollers, and tight tunnel lines. The X4 (12/6/-2/2) is a touch more controlled — flippy and glidey, but a little easier to keep from turning over on power.
Start it on a gentle hyzer and keep the nose down. Let it stand up to flat and drift forward on its glide. Add height for a longer turn and extra glide. The X4 rewards a smooth, nose-down release rather than raw power.
Choose 400 for grippy, all-around performance. Pick 500 for a firmer feel and consistent releases. Use 750 to keep flights stable longer in heat and heavy use. Go 400G if you want slower seasoning and added durability.
