The Innova Boss remains the go-to high-speed bomber for players who crave distance without sacrificing predictability. Rated 13 | 5 | −1 | 3, it leaps off the tee, holds a gentle high-speed turn, then drops with a reliable fade. Big arms push 450 ft sky-turns; developing throwers still enjoy effortless glide thanks to the 5-point rating.

The wide 2.5 cm rim looks intimidating yet feels surprisingly comfortable once you lock a power grip. Release on light hyzer and watch it stand up, drift, then hook hard—perfect for windy fairways, forced flexes or booming forehand skips. David Wiggins Jr. used the Boss to set the 1,108-foot world-distance record; that’s the glide pedigree tucked inside every run.

Choose Star for balanced grip and durability, Champion for max stiffness and wind-proof stability, or gummy GStar for cold-weather feel. Feather-light Blizzard Champion drops rim mass by injecting micro-bubbles, giving slower arms a real shot at personal-best distance. No matter the blend, the Boss holds its numbers for months of play.

Why throw the Innova Boss?

  • World-record distance potential in the right hands.
  • Headwind-chewing fade you can bank on.
  • Forehand-friendly rim for power flicks and skips.
  • Multiple plastics and weights tune stability for any course.

Innova Boss

For max distance I have to release with about 20 degrees of hyzer and it will flip up and ride a long way without much fade. Can reliably throw it 450 with this release, if I get the release angle just right. If thrown too flat it will turn and burn.

I wasn't ready!!

A couple months after I first started playing I got tired of borrowing my brothers and my cousins discs so I went to play it again sports and, spotted an orange Wiggins Champion Boss hahahah!! I thought it looked cool and, spent 25 bucks on it, ahhh long story short I regretted it, but I learned a lot about discs, and got some good use out of it. Great disc just not beginner friendly at all.
