Latitude 64 Opto Moonshine Plastic
Moonshine is Latitude 64's glow plastic, built on the Opto platform. It keeps Opto's durability and adds a glow core that charges under light, which is what makes it a night-round disc rather than a novelty.
How it flies
Like most glow plastics, Moonshine tends to run slightly more overstable than standard Opto in the same mold. It is not a dramatic difference, but it is consistent enough that players who bag both will often throw the Moonshine version on a touch less hyzer.
Charging the glow
The core is phosphorescent, so it needs light before it gives light. A few seconds under a phone torch or a UV light does it, and the glow is brightest in the first minute before fading. Charge between holes rather than once at the start of the round.
Best uses
Night rounds and glow leagues first. It also earns a slot in daylight on courses with deep leaf litter, where an opaque glow base is far easier to find than clear premium plastic.
