Latitude 64 Retro Plastic
Retro is the entry tier at Latitude 64 — the least expensive plastic they make, in the same molds you will find in Opto and Gold. Retro Burst is the identical blend with swirled colour mixed in; the pattern is cosmetic and does not change the flight.
Feel and durability
Soft, grippy and opaque, with a tacky hand feel that stays confident in rain. It is also the fastest-wearing plastic in the Latitude range: tree hits mark it, and a season of play leaves the disc flying noticeably straighter than it did new.
Best uses
Learning the game, field practice, loaners, and wooded or water-lined courses where losing a disc is a real risk. For newer players the quick break-in is a feature rather than a flaw — a seasoned disc flies straighter and more forgivingly, which matters more at lower arm speeds than holding an original fade for years.
The same tier at the other Trilogy brands
Dynamic Discs calls this tier Prime; Westside calls it Origio. One step up at Latitude 64 is Zero, which grips similarly but lasts longer and comes in more firmnesses.
