Latitude 64 Zero Gravity Plastic
Zero Gravity is Latitude 64's ultra-lightweight line — familiar molds built far lighter, most of them in the 110 to 130 gram range, so they reach flying speed without a big arm behind them.
Who it is for
Latitude aims this line at beginners, juniors and players with slower arm speeds, and the reasoning is simple: a disc has to reach a certain speed before it flies the way it was designed to, and less mass needs less power to get there. A full-weight driver thrown too slowly just stalls and drops. These also float, so a shot that finds water is usually recoverable.
What to expect in the air
Same mold shapes and the same intended flight, with less effort to reach it. The trade is wind — a 120 gram disc gets pushed around far more than a 175 gram one, so Zero Gravity is at its best on calm days and on downwind lines.
How it differs from Opto Air
Opto Air is premium Opto plastic made light while still feeling full-sized in the hand, and it sits in the 145 to 160 gram range. Zero Gravity goes lighter still and is the cheaper way in. Both answer the same problem; Opto Air is the more durable of the two.
