The Latitude 64 Maul is a fairway driver made for the turnover shot. Rated 7/7/-2/1, it resembles the popular River in both speed and glide, but flies more understable. That combination of easy turn and enormous glide makes it a fantastic choice for beginners and amateurs: it is easy to grip and control, and it will not fade as hard as high-speed drivers. Thrown flat or on a small hyzer, it flips up and floats forever on long, sweeping turnover lines that finish soft. It is also a great hyzer-flip and roller disc once lightly seasoned. If you throw 350 feet or less, the Maul's huge glide may just be the longest disc in your bag.

Why Throw the Maul?

↪️

Made for Turnovers

A fairway driver built for the turnover shot. The -2 turn holds long, sweeping right-moving lines that land soft.

✈️

Massive Glide

A glide of 7 is enormous for a fairway driver, keeping the Maul floating for maximum, effortless distance.

🐟

Understable River

It resembles the popular River in speed and glide, but flies more understable, like a broken-in, flippier River.

🔰

Easy to Control

Easy to grip and control with less fade than high-speed drivers, making it a top pick for beginners and amateurs.

🪃

Buttery Hyzer-Flips

A small hyzer pops flat and rides, making the Maul a favorite hyzer-flip and low-power distance driver.

🎳

Roller-Ready

The understable, glidey flight lays down and runs, doubling as a great roller once the disc is lightly seasoned.

↩️ More Turn

At -2 with a glide of 7, the Maul is already one of the more understable speed-7 fairways. The Underworld turns a touch more before you drop to a slower, flippier disc.

They share the same speed and glide. The Maul is more understable (-2 versus the River's -1), so it turns over more easily on long right-moving lines, while the River flies a bit straighter.
Very. It's easy to grip and control, the huge glide keeps it in the air, and the low fade means it won't hook hard left. For players throwing 350 feet or less, it's often the longest disc in the bag.
Long turnover lines, buttery hyzer-flips, tailwind distance drives, and controlled rollers once seasoned. Its glidey, understable flight also shines for shaping soft lines through wooded fairways.
