Great disc flies exactly how you throw it. Great company. Fast shipping and no problems.
The proton insanity is more stable than the other plastics it comes in but you can still turned it over fairly easy. it’s a nice plastic but i like the insanity in plasma the most.
The Insanity is a special disc to me. About 3 to 4 years ago I started to really get into disc golf again, I have been playing on and off for about 12 years, but I really started to love the sport about 3 to 4 years ago. During that time, a friend that I play with all the time had an Insanity in Neutron plastic. He tried to use it for sidearm throws and he couldn't stop turning it over. So he gave it to me thinking I would have the same problem and at first I did, but at the time I was just starting to formulate a workable backhand throw. So I started to use the Insanity for my main backhand driver. After a particularly insightful field session, and a couple great tutorial videos. I figured out what a hyzerflip is and how to execute one with... You guessed my Axiom Insanity!! I literally went from barely hitting 275ft with my backhand to consistently driving that disc over 400ft. (Also pushing 375 with a sidearm hyzerflip) Now, other might not have the same experience with it, but if you can start to understand the mechanics of your understable 7,8,9 speed fairway drivers, and start to get full flights out them it might unlock the same understanding that I did because of this disc. The Insanity helped shape the player that I am today, and it really helped me see what these discs and higher speed disc are actually capable of. It all just clicked one day!!!
