Innova Fox Midrange - Glidey Hyzer-Flip Midrange

Flight Numbers

5Speed

1Fade

The Innova Fox is a neutral-to-understable midrange with a low-profile microbead rim and serious glide. It flips up from a slight hyzer, flies straight on low-ceiling lines, and finishes with a mild fade that keeps it close to your target. Newer players get straighter flights with less power, and experienced throwers use it for smooth turnovers, standstill gap shots, and touch approaches in the woods.

Why Throw the Fox?

🔄

Automatic Hyzer-Flips

Release on a slight hyzer and the Fox stands up to flat and glides straight. Tunnel shots and woods lines become easy to repeat.

🪂

Big Midrange Glide

A glide of 6 is high for a midrange, so the Fox carries farther than you expect on smooth, low-effort throws.

✋

Clean, Low-Profile Rim

The low-profile microbead rim feels comfortable in the hand and releases cleanly on backhand and forehand touch shots.

➡️

Smooth Turnovers

Thrown on a gentle anhyzer, the Fox holds the angle and lands soft, perfect for shaping right-moving lines (RHBH).

🎯

Predictable Finish

A fade of 1 gives a gentle, forward finish instead of a hard dump, so approaches stay close to the basket.

🌱

Great for Every Level

Beginners get easy, straight distance. Advanced players get a dependable flip-up and turnover mid that fills a key slot in the bag.

Frequently Asked Questions

The Fox is rated 5 | 6 | -2 | 1. That is midrange speed with high glide, gentle high-speed turn, and a mild fade, giving it a straight to slightly turning flight that lands soft.

Yes. The glide and gentle turn help newer players get straighter, longer midrange shots without needing much power.

Hyzer-flips, low-ceiling tunnel shots, smooth turnovers, standstill drives in the woods, and touch approaches.

The Mako3 (5/5/0/0) is dead straight and holds flat lines longer. The Fox has more glide and a bit more turn, so it flips up easier and works better for turnovers.

The Buzzz (5/4/-1/1) is a touch more stable with less glide. The Fox turns a little more and glides farther, making it the easier choice for hyzer-flips and slower arms.

Yes, for touch and controlled shots. With a lot of forehand power it can turn over, so harder sidearm throwers may prefer a more stable midrange.

Choose Star for grip and durability, Champion for a slightly more stable flight, Halo Star for the same feel with a unique look, or GStar for cold-weather grip and a softer feel.
