Dynamic Discs Classic Plastic
Classic is the grip-first tier at Dynamic Discs — the plastic most of their putters and approach discs are built from. It is firmer and longer-lasting than Prime, tackier and softer than Fuzion or Lucid, and cheap enough that buying the same mold three times is a reasonable thing to do.
Picking a firmness
Dynamic grades this line by hand feel rather than by flight, so you will see Classic Soft, Classic, Classic Blend and Classic Pro, with Classic Supreme as the premium-durability variant. The rule of thumb: the softer the blend, the harder it grips and the flatter it sits down on landing. The firmer it is, the longer it holds its original flight before seasoning.
Best uses
Putting and approach work above all, and any cold or damp round where firm premium plastic goes slick in the hand. It wears faster than Lucid, which is the point for players who want a putter that beats in to a straighter, more forgiving flight.
The same tier at the other Trilogy brands
Dynamic Discs, Latitude 64 and Westside Discs all build this tier, each under its own name. Latitude 64 calls it Zero; Westside calls it BT.
