Prodigy PA-3

The Prodigy PA-3 is a stable, beaded putt & approach disc built for straight accuracy. It shines on putts, touch approaches, and short tee shots. Expect clean releases and a dependable finish.

Flight: 3 | 3 | 0 | 1. The PA-3 holds flat lines with a laser-straight flight, then ends with a small, reliable fade you can trust.

Why throw the Prodigy PA-3?

  • Beaded, straight-stable putter for confident putting and point-and-shoot approaches.
  • Torque resistance makes it a dependable throwing putter off the tee.
  • Gentle fade helps you range short hyzers and land flat near the pin.
  • Stable enough for wind, yet workable enough for touch lines in the woods.

Plastics

300 (baseline): tuned for putters and mids with excellent feel and grip. It seasons smoothly over time.

300 Soft (baseline): softer and more flexible, with very high grip. Great for cold weather and reduced ground play.

300 Soft Glow (baseline glow): 300 Soft feel with glow performance. A popular choice for night rounds and winter putting.

300 Firm (baseline, stiff): formerly known as 350G. Tacky grip with increased stiffness for a crisp, confident release.

300 Ultra Soft (baseline, very flexible): extra soft and very grippy, with heavy flex in the hand for maximum touch and chain grab.

400 Spectrum (premium, color-burst): premium 400-style runs with unique Spectrum bursts and a durable, thrower-friendly feel.

500 (premium): stiffer and less gummy than 400, with a confident grip and pearly finish. Excellent for throwing putter duty.

500 Glimmer (premium, sparkle): 500 plastic with a glimmer effect on special runs. Same firm, premium feel for consistent flights.

750 Color Glow (premium glow, very durable): firm, high-tech blend with outstanding durability. Great when you want stability to hold.

FAQs

What are the Prodigy PA-3 flight numbers and what do they mean?

3 | 3 | 0 | 1 means putter speed with steady glide, neutral high-speed stability, and a gentle fade. It’s built for straight putts and controlled approaches.

Is the PA-3 a good throwing putter?

Yes. The PA-3’s stable flight and beaded rim help it handle clean power on short drives and approaches. It’s a great point-and-shoot throwing putter.

What does the bead do on the PA-3?

The bead gives a consistent reference point for your finger and helps the disc finish with reliable stability. Many players also like the clean release it provides.

Which PA-3 plastic should I choose for putting?

Most players putt best with 300, 300 Soft, 300 Firm, or 300 Ultra Soft. Pick the stiffness that matches your grip pressure and local weather.

Why do some sites list different PA-3 flight numbers?

Some retailers list alternate ratings like 3 | 4 | 0 | 1. Prodigy’s own PA-3 pages commonly show 3 | 3 | 0 | 1, so that’s the spec we use here.
