Innova Destroyer

One of the most popular discs used by many professional disc golfers, this was the original 12 Speed driver. The Innova Destroyer excels for forehand throws for less skilled players. Although overstable, the Destroyer has a degree of turn that contributes to its remarkable glide and range. With the Destroyer, more than almost any other disc, intermediate players will get greater distance on forehand throws. The Innova Destroyer has a rim that is just the right thickness (2.2cm) for fast speeds without being uncomfortable. The Destroyer is a well-liked driver that is accessible in all the common plastics. This disc is much like a faster Wraith, but with a little more high and low speed stability. It Can handle headwinds and throws with off axis torque. Great disc for sidearm throwers and those with lots of power.

    GStar Plastic
GStar is a blend of Star that adds flexibility and even more grip. GStar is opaque like Star, but features a pearlescent sheen. Their allure is only surpassed by their beautiful flight. GStar discs have a smooth, gradual transition in flight and the same durability as our Star line. For cold weather play the flexibility and grip of GStar cannot be beaten, and even when the weather warms up GStar still retains similar flexibility.

    Ahhh what can I say!!!

I want to start off by saying this: If you can't throw your favorite mid-range at least 280ft+ you have no business throwing a Destroyer!!! Nobody can stop you and there are countless people who do it, and if it works for you then whatever. Just be AWARE you should not be throwing a Destroyer untill your arm is up to speed. Trust me!! You will not regret working your way up to a 12 speed. I know I didn't!!! As soon as I felt like my arm speed was up to snuff, I started to bag multiple Destroyers and, untill recently it was my main backhand and, forehand driver. It was even my go to for distance Thumbers and Tomahawks, but I discovered a couple different disc over the years which have replaced the Destroyers (Westside Sword for my backhand, the Discraft Flick and, Latitude 64 XXX for my Thumbers and Tomahawks). However, there isn't a disc on this planet that I would rather have for my forehand distance drives over a Star Destroyer!! They are consistently the farthest flying and, most accurate driver when it comes to my forehand and, I can consistently throw them 375ft-450ft. Getting the right one can be frustrating at times, because of the inconsistency in each individual disc, but when you get the right one it is easily in my top 3 favorite disc the throw and own. Also, the Star Halo Destroyers seem to have more consistency between each individual mold in my experience!
